How to create a favicon for your website
A favicon is the small icon associated with a website. It can appear in browser tabs, bookmarks and other browser interfaces. A recognizable favicon helps visitors identify your website more easily.
1. Customize your icon
Enter a letter or short initials, choose your background and text colors, select a font, and adjust the shape and text size. You can also upload your own PNG, JPG or WebP image.
2. Preview different icon sizes
Check how your design looks at 16 × 16, 32 × 32, 48 × 48 and 180 × 180 pixels. Simple designs with strong contrast tend to remain clearer at smaller sizes.
3. Download and install your favicon
Download the format you need and place the file in your website's
appropriate directory. For a PNG favicon saved as favicon.png,
add this line inside your page's HTML <head> element:
Update the filename and path if you save your icon somewhere else. You may need to clear your browser cache before a changed favicon appears.
